At 1216 hrs. Station 3 was alerted for a house fire at 416 Ruthsburg Road in the 4-3 Box. Engine 32 & Engine Tanker 3 responded with 6 members. While enroute Queen Anne advised the correct address was 416 Dean Road in the 4-7 Box. Communications 1 arrived on location with a 2 story house fully involved. Officer 202 (McCombs) arrived on location POV and assumed Dean Road command. Command requested a tanker task force bringing additional resources from Queen Anne's, Talbot & Caroline County. Engine 52 was the first engine on location and began laying 4" supply halfway up the lane. Engine 32 arrived on location and laid 700 feet of supply hose from the roadway to Engine 52's line. Engine Tanker 3 arrived on location and began supplying Engine 52 with water. State Fire Marshals Office and power company also responded. While Station 3 equipment were tied up on this call, Engine 14 stoodby by at Station 3. Station 3 equipment cleared the scene at 1447 hrs.
